I replaced mine with some black plastic air line DOT tubing. I just removed the plastic splash gard to get to it. A good pair of side cutters for the clamps is key. I re installed with 1/4" hose clamps.

The splash gard must be the same as the inner fender, right?

YEs. Potato, patato....

OEM one was pis poor design. Too thin.

Looks like I've gotta tackle this this weekend. Did you guys use 2 hose clamps? One at the top and one at the bottom?

Me too, I used 2 worm clamps. The ones Harley uses are cheap pinch clamps.

Once you get ahold of them with pliers or sidecutters or whatever, give them a couple twists and they should break apart, or at least loosen up enough to get the hose off. A little patience pays off here, know going in that there is very little room to work.

Well i changed it out today. Wasnt as bad as i thought it was gonna be. Patience was the key.... And a couple bud lights!
