I had thought about this when I first installed the Shotgun Shock, but have since found that I just really don't adjust it much while riding. I have a "feel" for where I like it while riding solo and two up, and so pretty much set and forget, but if I do want to make small refinements while moving my hand moves to the placement above the horn pretty naturally...

I think if I did move them from above the horn, I would probably mount them on the left side of the speedometer console...

Now, if there was some way to do PRE-SETS with the shock, THAT would be awesome!

They may require a relay, Im not familiar with the shotgun electrical requirements but thats not a big deal either. These are also momentary switches, does the shotgun harness have two momentary switches or is one modal?

You can get just the buttons for about $35 a piece. You just drill and tap a hole in the bars and they thread right in.

I like what Motown has there, and if not in the bars, maybe in the console.

The Arnott switch is pictured below. Wonder if it would work.

The next iteration here is buy a box of micro switches from China off ebay and have a housing machined and chromed. When you cant find what you want then make it. The only tricky part is waterproofing.

I'm really surprised JD doesn't have something like this as an optional accessory.
