No issues with the header, either with the tank or the lines.

Ended up punting due to a mess of health issues. At any rate, it's back together and should be up and running any day now.

Looks good. I'm currently looking at the same thing with my lines but to the standard tank. You say you used a few different brands to get all the fittings, did you look at Aero flow fittings/lines at all? Also could I bother you for what fittings/sizes you used out of the engine?

On another note, what did you use to paint your push rod tubes and tapper covers?

There's only one fitting I could find for the motor, and that was from Russell (They're in the Drag Catalog). I used Russell lines with a combination of their fittings and Earl's.

I think the tank looks great. That said, the inside was a rusty, messy disaster. J&P should be ashamed of themselves for selling stuff this way.

The tubes and covers were powder coated wrinkle black by a local guy.

Righteous mod...worth the effort, its a way cool look. Would love to try it on the next one. My factory oil bag works with the bikes lines, just cant justify it on this one but Im a fan.

Just wondering what size lines and fitting did you use. Doing the exact same thing to my Softail and just wanted to know what I need to get to do what you’ve done. Came out good, want to do the exact same thing with the braided lines
