I used Harley part 94691-08. It is the rear fender strut hardware kit.

Beware of what fdb2007 noted. When installing the screws, reach behind the fender and make sure they aren't too long where they may contact the tire. I have cut screws to shorten them when necessary.

Thanks for the part number.

oct1949,
What size are the docking bolt covers you are using?
The Pic I inserted is from another members bike, not mine, I was just showing U that HD does make them.. My Son had them (like the Pic) on one of his bikes
Is your detachable system for the bags only or the bags and sissy bar? The chart in the 2013 P&A catalog is useless to determine which covers are needed for your setup.
On my bike I don't have the detachable sys for the bags.. As seldom ever ride without the bags on. Only take 3-4 mins to remove the bags when I do though. Mostly when I do a total cleaning of the bike, then I remove them.
I plan on getting the detachable sideplate and bags and want to buy the correct size covers. Most likely it would be the large ones.

Yes the Magnet bolt covers just slip on over the bolts and are deep enough for the longer bolts that's needed for the quick detach system bolts.
Welll,,,, I just looked for a 1/2hr all over the net and in the new HD part catalog to find them, but I can't find them. Seen some Acorn nuts thats not deep enough.
I know 2-3 yrs ago I almost got a set of them for my strut bolts at our dealer. Might have been made/sold by someone other than MoCo.. ????

Thanks for the reply.

The part number varies depending on the rear docking hardware cover needed. The link is:

SJ Ron,
I don't know if you can answer this, but...
The longest docking bolt would be the one used for the detachable sissy bar and the detachable bags. Is the LARGE docking hardware cover long enough to cover the entire bolt?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
