Default HD Diamondback SS braided cables

I had the Diamondback SS braided cables (throttle/idle, brake and clutch) installed pre-delivery 1 year ago.

My brake cable seems to be visibly yellowed upon comparison to the T/I cable next to it. The cables should have an anti-yellowing Teflon outer jacket. Has anyone had a problem of yellowing with these cables? Probably something I should bring up with the dealer.

Also, others with the clutch cable....is it braided to the adjuster only or is yours braided all the way to the tranny? Mine is braided only to the adjuster (see picture).

Appreciate the feedback.

Seen this problem posted in here before. Get ready for the run-around from your dealer.

Clutch cable is braided just to the adjuster, Magnum shielding ones go all the way back. One of the worst mods i have done the coating on the cables is weak.

I have had them on 2 bikes, had the first one for 3 years and the current one is almost 3 years old, no issues. Clutch cable is only braided to the adjuster.

Saw that yellowing on a friends bike and the dealer replaced them. I went for Magnum's in black. No problems with them, I think they are a much better product than HD's.

Appreciate the replies. I'll bring the yellowing issue up with the dealer. As far as the clutch cable ??? A braided cable should be braided the entire length. Why it's not?
