I just installed mines and its a no brainer this shock is a must have on any softail. Thanks JD for the excellent service and product, it was great doing business with you. My bike rides better and looks better cant go wrong with the shotgun shock.

Dude! That's a wicked sick ride!

BTW, the wording in the title of this thread makes it sound negative, so I came in here up in arms, ready for a fight...but yeah, people wonder why we would pay "so much" until they actually put one one their bike...interesting, huh?

Thanks, I worded it like that intentionally so people would take a look. If not its just another satisfied shotgun shock owner thread and we've all seen tons of those already. But ya this thing is just amazing.

I looked at it this way. The 04 Heritage I am riding is "the bike" that my great grandkids will find under a tarp in the barn out at the ranch. Because of that, and knowing the on going issues with the harley shock, and having blown out a set of progressives, and realizing that this bike will see another 200K+ miles before I park it, and the shock has a lifetime warranty, and the HUGE difference it made in the ride comfort solo, two up and two up with baggage...I giure it's the cheapest and best mod I could ever make!

People keep asking if it works. Yep, it does. If anything he UNDERSELLS it.

Love the way your rear fender is hugging the tire. Great looking bike.

Been riding mine every day lately, except when it rained last week. Smooth as silk!
