Why would anyone even think to buy a shotgun shock

Hey Dude, hat's off to you for sure!! I have been able to do many things in life but putting them damn cigarets down has not been one of them. I don't know what it is but it drives me up the F'ing wall when I try and quit smoking. It's just the most awful thing for me to try and do. I have quit many drugs and drinking and can't for the life of me figure out why I can't quit smoking. Yes, 250.00 a month on these damn cancer sticks is not an outrageous amount figuring in what they cost now a days. $62.00 a carton, 4 cartons a month, add it up!!! So, I'm proud of you Dude. DO NOT make the same mistake I have made and others I have seen as well make in only thinking you can have just 1 because the 1 and only time I went a few months without a smoke, I "had just one".....I then had a carton again that same night. Yea, hat's off to you Midgard and I'm proud of you Brother. To me thats a major accomplishment, don't ever go back Dude, EVER!!! Also, back to this post. Remember, when I comment on the shotgun shock verse any other air ride product or lowering kit out there that is is just my personal opinion, nothing more, nothing less but I think there is a rather large crowd of shotgun shock users out there that agrees with me so apparently it is also their opinion as well. I also have many, many mods to my bike and I also have nearly 40 years of riding experience too. For me to say it is my favorite mod to my bike is not taken or said lightly. I never, ever bad mouth anyone for their choices. I just want to share my thoughts and personal choices with others out there who might be thinking of trying to save money by getting something else only to kick themselves in the butt down the road for not waiting until they are able to afford the best. I was a single parent who raised my kids alone, I know ALL about tight money situations. In fact I sold my last bike and went without for nearly 10 years because of "priorities". The money I got from selling my last bike went straight to a lawyers hands for me to be able to fight for custody of my kids, I won and raised them alone. So let me say it again. This is only my personal opinion and my advice to all my biker brothers out there who ard considering what they should do, nothing more, nothing less.

Shotguns are on my short list, but so are new painted tins for about the same $$. Wrote a 9k check this year for new roof and siding, so we'll have to wait...

Thanks for the comments everyone, im very pleased with the shotgun shock for the look and the ride. Who he doesent want a super good ride and a slammed bike to look at when its parked. I understand that some cant afford it, and others would rather spend there money else where but I think my bike is pretty much getting to the end of my to do list and just wanted to let people know how great the shotgun shock really is.
ranger73, my bike is slammed all the way down in the pic but it can be ridden that low when I installed the heartland kit I made sure the tire would clear the fender with the swing arm bottomed on the bump stop. I've dumped the air while riding and the tire hasn't scraped the fender yet.
Sick looking bikes JD keep em coming.
