Can you adjust on the fly? Boy, I can't quit playing with mine while on the fly! I have done it all while going down the road, from slamming it to fully blown up and everything in between. I have not play with anything this much since I was a little boy and 1st discovered.....well...you know! I pretty much ride solo 95% of the time and I ride it slammed with just a touch of rebound. If I hit some rough riding I just reach down and add a tad of air to it and keep right on going. I told this story once but I will repeat for those who never read it and are thinking about the Shotgun shock on their bikes. Me and 2 buddies went riding last year and we were on or way to an old watering hole but this time we took the back country roads. The 2 guys I went with kept falling further and further behind and I couldn't figure out why so I kept slowing down for them to catch up. As soon as they caught up again they kept falling behind again. I thought to myself when we get to the bar I am going to ask these guys what the hell was up and why they kept falling so far behind. Well, as soon as we got there I didn't have time to even open my mouth and they jumped on me and asked me right off the bat how the hell I could ride at those speeds, ( we were only going 45, maybe 50 ), and not get beat to death and have everything jimmie, shake and rattle lose on my bike. They wondered how my back and kidneys didn't get beat to death and then it hit me right between the eyes and I told them, 2 words, Shotgun shock! Thats when I knew this Shotgun shock went way beyond the "cool factor" and really did serve a purpose other than just looks and just the ability to say I have an air ride system. I knew the road we were on was bad, I have been down that road in a car before but I just reached down and adjusted it "on the fly" as we were going along and my bike, back and kidneys took that road like a piece of cake. I was NOT the only one who was impressed at that point with this product. The guys I were riding with were really impressed as well. They couldn't believe how bad they were getting beat to death and how I was going along like it was nothing. So, if your thinking about it just take the plunge, pull the trigger this winter and you will never be sorry. The only thing that I have been sorry about since I put JD's Shotgun Shock on my bike was why I waited so long. I will never own anything other then a Softail and I will never own another Softail that does not have a Shotgun shock on it.

I think what Tony's trying to say here, is that he REALLY likes the shotgun shock.

Bad as$ bike! I definitely like the way the back fender hugs the tire. Do you think it will scrape at all riding that low? I know you can always adjust the height which is one of the benefits of the shuntgun shocks. Man, looks great!

Yea, just a tad Vic Bronco! My performance mods were always my favorite mod on my bike, with that HC motor this thing just screams when I jump on it, which I have only done a few times. Now it's the Shotgun, not by much but it is none the less. Also, I don't want to take away from JD's product but I did the front end with the Progressive monotubes and I also took an inch off of the front and they are a GREAT match!

best money i've ever spent on any accessory i've ever put on my Heritage. JD is the best!! personally toured the shop where they make em from start to finish and believe me, each unit is touched by the crews hands. no automated production lines here. someone please tell me how to upload a pic on here. i am computer challenged.

Hey Jeffinveags I am not the best at this but I'll try. Pop your CD that has your pictures on it and then go to your sig icon on the left side of the screen and click on it. When you get to where that directs you, you should see another little icon somewhere and a box that says "upload photos" Pick out the photos you want to upload by the numbers that will identify them on your CD. It might even say "browse pictures" or "browse photo's" and you can pick from there, then pick the ones you want and upload them. If this does not work for you and no one else was able to help you send me a private message and I will walk you through step by step. I have to get ready for work tonight but if you have not figured it out by time I get to work and I have a few minutes to do it I will walk you through from work. Shoot, if need be I can call you from work and go that route if you want! See guy's, it's just not the Shotgun I am willing to comment on and help with!! There is not allot I wouldn't do, say or talk about on here when it comes to helping out a brother in riding! Ya know guys, 1 of the main reasons I have the Shotgun Shock on my bike is because there were a few guys on here that did for me what I do, or what I try to do for others on here. That was to talk to me and so positive about JD's product. I had the same concern's that others have on here, 1 being the price tag on it. They told me how well it worked and what it did for them so I decided to trust them, take the plunge and to go ahead and pull the trigger on them. Sometimes you just have to put your trust in others, something I am not very good at but in this case I am very glad these few guys stayed on me and kept me informed. I thank those few guys that stayed on me as this thing is just Tit's and it was everything those few guys said it was. They told me if I put it on my bike that I would find it to be worth every single penny it took to put it on my bike. They were 100% right and then some!
