Just got my Deuce a week and a half ago and it came with pipes that really didn't fit the look of the bike IMO , at least not what I wanted it to look like.

Picked up these Pythons up on ebay for $180.00, it looks so much better, they bark louder though . I'll ride it a little more before I decide if I want to try some smartpartz baffles.

Thanks , Yes I plan on few things over the winter. I found right & left peg bracket's plus the rear brake lever as a set on ebay @ $33.50 . The right side was bent by the PO , it appears it maybe got too close to the curb by the damage I can see. It went over in the grass I was told. By what I can see the bottom side of the pipes ,rear brake lever and section of the frame are road rashed and the R grip edge, basically repairs so far.

Road a bit today and it sounds like a fuel management system will be in order sooner than I planed ,as it back fires and cackles when I decelerate , suspected that would be a side effect of the Pythons.

Grips , seat , tires (11yr old Dunlops ) , lower the rear ,sissy bar , pegs , bars / riser's , K&N air filter.
The bikes only got 3260mi so down the road maybe some mild cams.

Pipes look really good, I'm still running my shotguns for now.
As you said, a good fuel management system should help the decel pop, did mine. Deuces rule!

11 year old tires. THAT would be the first thing to change. Bike looks good. With that amount of damage you might check the frame over for any cracks or twists especially around the goose neck area. My

Tires are on the list , I think I will feel a difference. The rear has tried to get out from under me a couple of times not really pushing it, don't trust em. Not much riding left this season so I will have fresh rubber for spring.
I did look over the goose neck area as you suggested ,don't see anything , no marks or even paint cracks.

Good to hear. Yeah it's getting cold and dreary here in Mexifornia. Only occasional riding days.
