Default Fatboy passenger floorboard question

i recently bought a slightly used 06 fatboy, the previous owner already had passenger floorboards with the stock exhaust. I just installed a set of Vance and Hines Big Shots staggered and i just dont see how i can reinstall the passenger floorboard on that side as the floorboard attached to the swingarm via a bracket that bolted to the stock exhaust.....i know there's a simple fix out there, i just cant figure it out. It appears to me if i just used a simple spacer that the bracket would rotate...??

....this is why i love this board

lol, thats ok man, thanks alot

i was out there fooling with the passenger floorboards, and if i used just a simple spacer, it appears that they'll hit the pipes for sure....looks almost like they need to come up and out

People on here tend to like pictures of what you're talking about to try and offer advice. Currently having a hard time visualizing your setup as I'm a rocker owner.

never thought about pics...duh

here, hope someone can figure out my delimma

with my stock pipes on:

the stock muffler bracket that the passenger floor boards attached to (this bracket wont even fit now)

in this pic you can see with the stock passenger floorboard bracket, it clearly sits right on the vance and hines big shots pipe

Can't you go right into the upper hole? When I put on my pipes the Vance and Hines kit came with a replacement bolt that I used to attach the foot peg directly into that upper hole. The bracket is no longer needed.

****edit***
I'm pretty sure I saw a recent thread on here that mentioned that Heritage Passenger foot boards would fit. I did a search but couldn't find the thread. I don't want to put out false info but it might be something to look into.

you might have to go back to standard passenger foot pegs
