I have a Master disc lock that works good and it even came with it's own pouch to strap it to the frame.

I have a Zena. Easy on and off and has a alarm built in. It will stop some one from rolling off with your bike, but won't stop them from picking it up and puting it in the back of a truck. The alarm is nice, but lets be honest, most people will ignore a car alarm. Bust theft deterent I've purchased for my bike is full coverage insurance!

I have a Master Disc Lock, as well, but I added a lanyard where one endslips onthe lock and the other end slips over one of the handlebar grips. This little trick is used to remind you that you have thedisc lock installed. Please don't ask me how I know this...but it is hard to look cool when you're mounting your Harley-Davidson at the local mall with a dozen or so onlookers and you roll 6 inches before you come to a screaching halt! Ouch...that's a serious ego killer!

Seriously...it works well, but it will only help to keep honest people honest! I carry full coverage as a backup.

Good luck...

Steve

I have a fluro orange Kryptonite disk lock with a lanyard to the handlebars. The lanyard is a must as a reminder if you only use the lock occationally as you tend to forget to take it off before riding off. I did once and hurt my pride[&:]

The alarm on the Zena also stops you from riding off with it on I did it once, too and it hurt my pride and two spokes!

AAArrrgggg Disk locks!!
Twice I failed to remove my disc lock from my sports bike, both times in front of an audience! Decided to risk having it stolen than look a prat one more time. I really have to pound these things into my 32 Mb brain. Would never risk it on my HOG

Use a Xena with alarm too http://www.xenasecurity.com/home/current/lock/The alarm acts as a reminder to remove it before moving off!!

This won't deter the pro's. 4 guys, 2 metal pipes through the frame, a truck, and about 30 seconds; your bike is history.
