Dealer did the recall on my heritage...
While I was there, they went into this speel about my brake pads on the bike were greatly wore, & how I needed a new back tire and I should be looking at getting the oil changed.
--rear pads have 7900 miles, still have 50% of the pad left.
--rear tire has 7900 miles, at least 3K miles still on it.
--I said owners manual says 5K oil change.
I am not a fan of having work done at a dealer unless it is warranty work. Either I do it or an indy!

they would not be doing their job if they did not try and sell you something. doubt if they break even with what the moco pays them for a recall. did they wash the bike for you at no cost? spend a few bucks on something at the dealership...that way they can be there when you have a serious warranty problem.

I work at a car dealer and we have to look over every car and try to sell anything we can. Yes some will try to sell you things you don't need at this time. It almost seems recalls are done to bring the cars back to the dealers so maybe they can make some money off of the people..no they don't do that but thats the mindset of the management
