Excuse me I don't mean to hijack your thread. I too want to install beach bars, But I have a question. Looking at everyone's installation it seems as though most are using 1.5 inch risers. Is this just a preference or is this what should be used with beach bars?

I've got Samson True Duals and I'm looking for a bag that will fit, without looking like a swing-arm bag up too high, or a saddlebag down too low.
