I'm looking in amazon.com and this one is $99, are these stable to work on?

I'm looking at purchasing one, no more than $200

What do you guys use and recommend

I bought a Larin and am very happy with it...

Larin came highly recommended by many people on this board.

I noticed the price on the MAL-2 dropped quite a bit from when I purchased...

Sears has a better version of that on sale right now for $107. There are several cosmetic and quality differences even though at first glance you don't see them.

One of the better investments is the platform lift for the whole bike.

The one I have from Sears barely fits under my frame and has to be positioned perfectly to balance.

I have that one you are looking at, it's ok, but had I done a little more research, I would have gotten a different one like the J&S.

Yes, that's what I've been noticing and the reviews aren't too promising.

"These things aren't stable and fitting it under the bike is a pain."
"Bottle leaks"
"Stuck, won't come down"

i got one that's very similar to this one from Harbour Freight for my rocker and it's perfect. I had the bike stripped down to just the frame, engine, oil tank and tranny and the lift was sufficient for that job.

of course in a perfect world we would all have a table lift but there is no way you're gonna find one of those for under $200.

i'd say go for that one. you'll be pleased.

I've got a black widow for 115. I can do every thing on this. Was considering a lift table (the HF) for 299. but I don't have the garage space.
