It looks like it is ridged mounted, but I wanted the swing arm to move. I made some thin metal sleeves at the bottom that the bar rides in. Can't really tell unless you get down there and really look. I like how the rear sissy bar follows the springer angle. The fender looked like it was floating in space without it. I found this cool 1/2 round 5/8" stainless steel bar stock. I got the wide profile look with out having a 5/8" round bar stock.all the way. I think it is the best of both worlds.
I see what you mean. That's pretty cool. Sorta like a pair of metal socks that the bar rides in. That angle doesn't change at all? Wow.
MrJAYPEE: Great looking Bobber, Strongly agree with Redsauce, that is a great looking bike.
May I ask about the source for the rear fender and tires?
Ride on, and enjoy that scoot!
Steve
Thanks for the compliments! The tire is a Firestone repop from Coker Tire it's a 500-16. The rear fender is from Lowbrow Customs.
It looks like there is a tab that connects the tube to the rear bolt.
I welded two half inch spacers to the sissy bar. I needed to move the quick release bolts and bushings away from the fender. The original fender has those long struts that go all the way back. The quick release bolts and bushings go through those struts and bolt behind a fender. I needed to take up that difference so I did it with the sissy bar mounting tabs.

Bro, you did an awesome job! You should sell Burley your idea, so I can get one too. That alright for the world to have one? LOL
I built the bars but thicker 1.25",they are modeled off 1" HD hollywoods.

The front brake is integrated with the rear on a 3/4" master and double banjo bolt.
How do those integrated brakes work? Are they difficult to get used to?
