Default Custom air cleaner trim ring?

Does anyone know where or even if someone makes custom air cleaner trim rings.. like the thing that says "96 Cubic Inches - FatBoy"? I like that it says the size of the engine, and the model, but if it comes to it that I do a custom engine that isn't a 96..well..you know, i dont want it to say "96" anymore.

and to be more specific i'm preferably looking for just the trim ring.. not a cover plate or anything like that.

Ur dealer should have them

I took the org ring off when I cut my A/C down and reinstalled it after Painting it.

You could always take yours off and have it painted and put what you want on it.

Sometimes they are also sold on Ebay, but there are different sizes so you have to make sure the trim ring will fit on your cover plate. Mine was bought off of Ebay, it just has the Harley Davidson/Screamin' Eagle on it in chrome.

Yeah i guess I could probably sand it and paint it. maybe even find some custom font to use or something and then do some wicked pinstriping on it.. probably the route i'll go. I didn't realize it was painted, I thought it was just a decal or something under a plastic cover

Not sure U still understand what I did with the ring.. Its made of a mid-heavy alum type material that has double stick tape that sticks it to the Air Cleaner.

I removed the ring insert and then cut down my Football air cleaner to make it round, then reinstalled the ring insert back on the A/C cover

Heres a pic of one of the inserts like mine below.
Found it here.

Heres the SE trim ring. its $7.95 at Ur dealers.

No i understand what you did.. I did the same thing to my air cleaner (see pictures in 1st post).. I thought it was a plastic ring so it couldn't be painted.. i never removed mine, just covered it up while i was cutting.. but if it's metal, then i can scuff it up, prime it, and paint it myself.

The point was that I don't want it to say "Screamin' Eagle" or whatever, I like the style as it is now..that it says the size of the engine, and FatBoy. But if I build my engine, i'm not doing a 103", but rather a 107".. and Harley doesn't sell one to say "107 Cubic Inches - FatBoy".

So what I can do, since no one makes "Customize to your Liking" trim rings, is I can take mine off, scuff it up, paint it myself, replace the double-sided tape on the back, and re-stick it, and i'll get the result I want. Unless of course i break it, then i'll pay $8 for a new one

Did you ever find a source for trim ring decals?
