Anybody think I should contact Vance and Hines and see if they'll replace them. I put the stock baffles in but I think my wife and neighbors would prefer the quiet baffles.

only way to find out is give them a call.. can't hurt..

if not a local welding shop should be able to re-weld for a couple $$$.

After the ride today it seems like I've lost a little torque. I'm really digging the sound so I'm thinking about maybe trying something like Thunder torque inserts. Has anybody tried them?

As I see Ur set up for two up ridding, Honestly with the mid length pipes even the stock baffles in any set of V&h's are loud, it'll really be LOUD with less baffles for anyone's ears on the rear, even more so if do any long distance riding like 2 hrs or more.

Son had V&h's on his Deuce and NT and I wouldn't ride on the right side of either bike.. just too much for me.

I really don't do much two up riding. I just like the look of the 2 up seat and having a good surface to strap things to. The thunder torque inserts say they can be used with or without the stock baffles. I'm thinking that if I put the torque inserts on in addition to the stock baffles it might restore some of the lost back pressure but keep the sound. I just haven't found anybody yet who's tried it.
