My girl wants to get me a good birthday gift that i'll actually enjoy and i'm trying to find out how much the head light goes for.

i think i figured it out from HD's web site. the kit is just the head light and no housing. looks like they are asking $385 for it.

pretty steep.

You might want to check out the Truck-Lite LED before pulling the trigger on the one offered by HD. They can be has for under $220 and they're a great headlamp. Lots of info on this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ing-lamps.html

I just ordered a hi/lo h4 hid kit off ebay for $38 bucks pnp for motocycles. Fireman just did one and it turned out good. Worth a try for the money, comes with full harness and should easily fit in the 7in bucket.

+1....I have seen these installed and they look great on and off. Nice smoked look when not in use.

+1. Been researching this for quite awhile. Too bad they don't yet make a small one for the Deuce....

+1 Panheadrich gave out the discount code on the thread listed here, it works. We put the Truck-Lite 7" LED head light and driving lights on our bike and it lights up the length of the street in front of our house, a city block long. Nice bright color but not blinding, unless you are directly in the beam.
