I have never been a fan of apes until now. You guys have some great looking mini apes. Anything taller than 14 looks rediculous to me, and I can't see me riding with my hands higher than my shoulders. Thanks for posting all the pictures as most of what I see on here are the 16 and 18's. I am 6' 1", but I have buckhorns now and may try a set of mini's.

Ive got the chubby 12.5's blackout bars with 1.5 inch risers..at the time of this pic...years ago, i was like 250lbs..and around 5.10....im still 5.10.

12.5's just fit me well, it all depends on how low your seat is, and weather you like your bars canted forward or back. i love mine and would never go to anything else...good luck!

Might be a stupid question, but do your hands ever "go to sleep"? Get numb? After about 30 minutes riding my stock lo, my hands start to tingle and go to sleep.

 

My 12" mini apes it my arm level with my shoulders, they are very comfortable. My bike is on the first page. But it comes down to your seating position, your height and how tall your torso up is... some people have longer legs and shorter torso, some have longer torso and shorter legs....so it just depends.

 

I've got the H-D 12" mini-apes here in my avatar and sig pics. I'm 6'1", 230lbs and they're comfortable to me. I've ordered the H-D fat mini-apes tho. Can't wait to put 'em on!

 

For me...my hands tend to numb even with the stock bars after a while...I found no difference with the mini apes
