Anyone have the Harley 12" mini apes on a deluxe?

 

what plate holder and tail light setup is that? is it LED

 

I am thinking about getting some mini-apes for my '14 Slim with non ABS. I would like to make the change without changing cables id possible, so I thought about 10" but like the 12" a little better. I am also wanting to lower my front end 2". Will the suspension drop make a big enough difference that I could run 12's without cable changes, does anyone know?

It's not LED. It's a high quality Model A reproduction tail light mounted to a bracket that they make. I had an LED bulb in it for while...but they do NOT last, everyone of them broke. Perhaps if the quality of the bulbs get better at some point, I may try again. My turn signals are LED and work in unison with the taillight (Triple play by Custom Dynamics) All three blink quickly when the brake is applied...after a few seconds, they become solid lit. It all is pretty noticable actually.
