Default Does any other seat fit RSD tracker rear fender kit?

I bought the RSD tracker rear fender kit and I love the look but I cant stand the seat. It is made by mustang for the kit but it isnt like any other mustang I have sat on. It is a couple inches narrower and seems like it is very hard right where your tailbone hits the seat. I have tried riding it to see if it would break in but the only thing breaking is my backside. It also is alittle short on the front so it doesnt quite meet up with the tank as my stock seat did. So I guess my options are to try and find a seat upholsterer to make it softer but that wont make it wider or longer so .....has anyone else out there who used this kit found a different seat that works with it that is more comfortable and fits better? I would love to avoid having to drill another hole in my rear fender to mount a new seat so hopefully it matches there too.

Yes I am also interested in seat alternatives as well. Read on here that the LePera Bare Bones solo wouldn't work but could not find why

I have the rsd rear fender with a Bitchin seat company seat. More than happy with it as it looks better than any other seat and comfortable. Contact rich and he will be more than happy to help you and it's well worth the money.

CA Night Train- I like the look of your seat it seems wider than the RSD seat and it fits up to the gas tank. What model or style is it and how much did it set you back?

I sent you a PM.

Call bitchin seats, and tell them what you have and they can fix you up with a great seat. I got the RSD seat when I ordered my fender kit, and did not like it either. Called Rich at Bitchin seats, and talked about what I wanted, and when my new seat arrived I could not have been happier. They are more expensive than the RSD seat, but worth every penny. High quality, custom made for your size, and your bike, and very comfortable. If you can afford the Bitchin seat, do it. You won't be dissapointed.
