Default just ordered my shadetree rear end

Ordered up from Kyle, seems like a good dude. Now I am going to be looking to pull that front fender. I know most of you have said you cut that spacer off of the chrome bracket, but he is telling me you don't need to. He said the spacer is actually inside there or something? Anyone know what I am talking about?

Sounds like you'll just have to wait until your kit shows up then it'll probably be pretty obvious. I met a dude with the kit on his xbones and it looked good, had it installed at Shadetree as well. Unfortunatly the guy was really unhappy with alot of the work so hopefully that doesn't happen with you.

He's right. The bracket doesn't work as a spacer. But when you take it off, it'll look like something's missing. If you don't mind the "gap", just take it off, you should be fine.

Unless you have/plan on getting an extra bracket, I wouldn't cut the one you have. Just in case you wanna put it back on...

I run no front fender on my Bones and I didnt cut the bracket just in case. It is not a spacer just a cover. Without it you can barely notice the gap.

thanks. Is there something you have to do with one of the bolts on the brake side?

You loosen the 2 bolts that hold the fender on the left.

The one with the safety clip goes back in (8) because it's part of the front brake, the one below that (2) need not go back in.

Been a while since I removed my front fender to replace it so I might be off on the above, but it is simple and straight forward.
