3". I went all the way. Had to get some risers made so the bars cleared the tank too. I think they're 1 1/2" or 2"

Nice Deuces! I just made an offer this afternoon on a 2000 Deuce that had been turned into a show bike. It has 42K on it, the factory saddle bags that were just made for the Deuce, chrome 5 spoke front wheel, and an ungodly amount of chrome including the rear swing arm. It was second place in a show at Sturgis in 06. The fins have been diamond cut.

Reiman's HD in Kewanee, Il. has it. I think that they have it on their web site. The owner was not in so the salesman did not have the authority to say yes or no to my offer.

They are asking $11,500 for it but that is way over book. I made what was still an over book offer but not the amount that they want. It was traded by the original owner on a 12 Anniv. Ultra. He had spent tons of money there for them to dress it up over the years. Last year he had them put in S&S cams. It is tuned to perfection. Instant start and smooth idle without even using the choke. Sounds like a HD should.

Not my favorite color. It is purple that was a factory color. But it works well with all the chrome. The lines of the tank and rear fender really flow well as do the HD saddle bags. I'm ahead of myself but I'm already planning some changes.

If anyone has time look at it on the web and tell me what you think it's worth.

The dealer accepted my offer and they delivered the 2000 deuce this afternoon.

The picture is not good quality. I just can't seem to get the camera right for a picture in the florescent garage lights.

But until I get a good sunny day this is it.

The previous owner bought it new and keep adding chrome over the years. It was 2nd place at Sturgis in 06 and Willie G. signed the rear fender. The guy bought a new rear fender and keep the old one when he traded.

It is loaded with every chrome piece in the HD book. Some areas appear tarnished in the picture but that is reflection off of something.

I could not even find a swirl mark in the finish and the bike is pristine for a 13 year old bike and 42K on the clock.
