Default Front fender on a rainy day for my slim...

I live in the netherlands and the autumn has begun. So I mounted a front fender for the rainy days....

Before:

Custom front fender:

Back from the paint shop:

I know without the fender its looks better, but in the autumn with no fender is sucks....

Have you tested it yet? Like in a puddle? Doesn't look like it'll stop much water from being thrown back from the tire.

I was going to say, that's not much of a fender. I think you're going to be wetter than you think... I mounted a Heritage fender on My FatBoy because the stock fender was pretty useless.

Looks nice but like others have said, I don't think it will offer much protection either.

I actually prefer the look of a front fender vs. none.
So that's what I run on my bikes.

That one should help a lot keeping the water from slinging up into your face and be simple to remove once you want to go fender less again.

PC those lower legs...

I like what you're doing with the bike, allot of guys (like me) have done a bunch of bolt on stuff but you are using universal stuff like the fender and pipes and making something unique for yourself. Great job.

Totally agree. The stock front fender looks like it came off a boat trailer. I like that one. By 'custom' do you mean you made it or had it made or did you buy it from a manufacturer.
I like it.

I have not tested it yet, I hope its big enough. Before the Slim I had a Forty Eight and de font fender is similar and had no problems with getting wet...
