BE CAREFUL...check your bearings...mine did that and the bearing was going and the rotor was helping hold the wheel in place...I've had 2 bearing failures the same way...6k first time on a brand new bike, next 7k later...change to timken or all ***** AND GET THE HD ONE'S OUT!!! SECOND FAILURE WAS AT 65 MPH...1200 BUCKS DAMAGE...
Just changed bearings after powder coat. This isn't the problem. I have seen the bearing issue before on a buddy's bike.

My pads were OEM's but when I changed the rotor I pulled them and replaced them with Lyndals. No more back pad. My rear rotors are always hot & do drag when up on a lift. If you can't move the tire on a lift then you have a problem. If it takes a little push & it moves I'd say its normal.
on the three sets I've had done two of them took a little force to move the rear and the other time it would go about 1 turn easy..
the front would go about 2 1/2 turns when I spun it after new pads.

I rebuilt caliper and master cylinder just to make sure it was taken care of. After a few weeks of running, it Still runs a little hotter than front not overheating. It Seems to be fine now.

Since a couple of others have posted about the rear normally dragging more than the front I'll add this. For a few weeks I tried to use only the front or the rear brake in the last mile or so to and from work. I carried my infrared thermometer and measured the temperature of rotor I didn't use. The rear was always warmer than the front. The rear just seems to drag a bit more than the front.

I just replaced my rear brake pads a couple of weeks ago. Got 16k miles out of them. The lower piston wasn't moving as freely as the upper one. I cleaned the pistons with brake cleaner and exercised the lower piston until it moved in an out as free as the upper one.
Bled the break real good and the rear rotor doesn't get as hot as it used to. It still gets a little warmer than the front rotor, but maybe I'm applying more pressure to it when stopping.
