It really is as easy as paper clipping the two together to see a brake light come on

Just a thought, have you considered cutting some of zip ties that hold your break line to the frame to see if you can pull it away from the frame to give you enough clearance?
That's what I'm sayin brother

Well, the exhaust isn't in the way. The switch is sandwiched right in between the frame and it's actually touching on the engine side. Can't even get an open end wrench on the damn thing (let alone turn it). No clearance for a socket either.. Cripes. Wondering if I need to take the whole bracket loose that the union/brake line is mounted to...

It looks like it's open, but you can't get any thing on it... (frame tube under and engine up top...) Frustrating. I can see it, I just can't get anything on it...

Not mean to sound rude but maybe a Manual. I see yours is a 2007 and my manual only goes up to 2005 and it doesn't mention anything about a pressure switch so I'm not sure if that is something they started after 2005

I think I used a mini crescent wrench when I did mine. I guess I was just playing it safe bleeding the brakes afterward. I have speed bleeders installed so brake bleeding isn't a big deal.

I have the manual and like every other manual it says "remove switch" lol. It's tucked up in there so tight there's no room to get a wrench or even a crow's foot on it.

Anyway, I think I'll just have to loosen the bracket it's mounted to, to get it loose enough to get a socket and a swivel joint over it.

Benway...

The switch is bolted to the engine on my '09. I just had to replace mine yesterday after a hard brake when a large goose walked out in front of me at 50mph. The brake light was stuck on as the switch had failed. Mine looks different than your '07. See if the bracket is bolted to the engine. It should be one large Torx head bolt to remove and you can slide the bracket out and get a wrench on the switch.

There are a couple of zip-ties on the frame, you have to snip those off so you can pull the brake line out enough to work on it. You have to vacuum bleed the brake after the switch is replaced because there will be air in the hydraulic line. It's an easy job and the switch is about $21.00 at your local HD dealer.

Oh, and I missed that big assed goose- BTW
