AF Deluxe in Italy
#23
Bike looks sweet. I spent a couple years in Aviano from '96-'98 in the 603rd, but I had sport bikes back then. Man that was a long time ago, i feel old now. Flew through there once on my way to Iraq in '05 i think it was and couldn't believe how different the base looked. Enjoy it and stay overseas! You just don't get the same comradery state side that you do overseas.

Thanks everyone! I have been in the AF for 16yrs come Oct 2nd! Time flies eh? I originally from Wisconsin; lived there for 20years before joining the AF. Since joining I have spent a year in Mississippi, 2 yrs in Florida, 3 yrs in Okinawa, 2 yrs in Cali, 4 1/2 in Northern Japan, a year in Korea, and about 2 yrs in Italy so far with one more to go. I love serving overseas and will continue as long as the AF lets me. I really hope to go back to Japan and ride with the MC club I really respect and maybe even a big part of the reason I finally bought my Harley.
I have been riding/racing since the age of seven. When I was a senior in HS I discovered to powerban of a v-twin and have never turned back since. I have three twins now and never see my self buying anything else in the future. I have my Deluxe, a '73 Bonnie, and a '95 Ducati 916SP, a wide spectrum of bikes.
The riding in Italy is amazing! Every time you turn a corner there is something cool to take a photo of behind the bike. When it rains the roads are like glass covered in ice! You really have to have your wits about you and corner slow. There are so many biker friendly places in Europe too. Many places in Austria and Slovenia offer Biker discounts!
Any way thanks for taking the time to check out my bike and post comments! Please check back as my bike evolves in the the bike I have in my mind and as I find more col **** to take pic of behind my bike!
Ciao!
