Default New Bike

Here's my new (to me) 05 Heritage. Couldn't be happier. Spent the afternoon cruising the neighborhoods on her. The Heritage is a lot heavier than the military dirt bikes I'm used to so it's forcing me to go back to basics and work on my handling. 20+ years in the military has taught me all about going back to step 1.

I also want to thank my wife, Tina who is suffering through treatments for stage 4 breast cancer but still insisted that I get the bike because she knows how much I've always wanted one.

Congrats, nice looking ride. Looks like you ended up going with an EVO after all. Hope things get better for you and the Mrs. from here forward. FWIW, my wife is a breast cancer survivor (a bit over 20 years now) so I have some idea of what your going through. If you find yourself down around Vancouver send me a message.

We've been riding an 04 FLSTCI for years...love it! Get the touring passenger pad and backrest for it and get your wife out to enjoy it. Some of th ebest therapy is time in the wind!

Enjoy the ride!
