stay away from Riverhead HD long island,the owner is a real *******,nasty,arrogant,every time i went there he had an attiude,never again !!!!!!!!!!!,i wait till i go to Fla to buy accessories(Ocala Fla HD),discounts ,fri/sat barbacues,no discounts in NY !!,GOOD LUCK !!

 

Nope. NY HD has been pretty cool. In Long Island city.

Though close, I'd pass on going to the one in Bergen though.

 

My Mom lives up in Saratoga, so when I visit, I have my service done at McDermotts HD in Fort Anne. THEY ARE AWESOME! I trust them with my bike and their work. Their pricing is very fair. Well worth the trip to me. Besides, it's a great excuse to go for a ride thru farm country.

 

Had a few Issues with Lighthouse HD but they have gone out of business.
Suffolk HD in Oakdale are a good group of people

 

Just bought a new Fatboy at Moroney's. I had a great experience. Ask for salesman Rich Croce.

 

When I lived in NYC, I bought my bike and had it serviced at Lombardi Harley Davidson on Staten Island.

I though they were a good dealer, had great mechanics and they even arranged to get my bike fixed on warranty after it had expired!

Keep in mind it's over 20 years ago (damn I'm getting old!) Don't know if they are still as good. Worth checking out though. Family business since 1905!

That's why I love to ride in our area of IND , we have to go for a long ride to get to the big city cause most of our area is farm country.

Its really nice to ride for 2hrs and only pass 20 cars or so.. In the fall U'll actually pass as many Tractors/farm equipment as cagers..

 

I use O'Tooles in Wortsboro, NY. Great bunch, I have nothing but good things to say about them.
