I have a 2000 FXST and need to get a set of stock mufflers. I just moved to Germany (military), and my aftermarket pipes are too loud - they measured 105dB, and 95dB is the most allowed by law. Needless to say I failed my inspection, and now have 30 days to straighten this out. I already borrowed a set just to pass the inspection and get a permanent license plate, but I'd like to buy a set for intermittent use while I'm here.

Searching eBay, there are plenty of pipes - but which ones will fit my 2000 FXST? Is there a general rule; i.e., "all 1999-2005 softail stock pipes are interchangeable"?
