Default my pipes sound clip

these were on the bike when i got it. they are v&h slip-ons. they sound really sweet, deep, and loud. but i just don't like the look of mufflers. so i'm goin to get some v&h big shots staggered with the power chamber. but hey. check out this clip.

sorry.no. not for awhile. i just took the seats, saddle bags, and battery in the house for the so-called winter. i also treated the fuel.

but i asure u that it is loud as hell. i remember when i had the v&h drags with B.C.T baffles, how loud that was. this is right there with it. it sounds awesome at w.o.t

so what should i do? should i change it or not. i mean u really can't see the rear pipe to good with the bags on. i don't know.

Ah, you must live up here where the sky dandruf has been falling I don't blame you for putting the bike away for the winter, mine is in the garage with stuff in the tank and the tender on it too. Till I start orderinggoodies for it that is.

As for changing the pipes it doesn't sound like there anything wrong with them to me. But that's just my opinion and if your not happy with them, its your money and bike, go for it.

yeah i live in s.jersey.

u see thats just the problem. i love the way it sounds. its one of the reasons i bought it. i do agree with u. if it aint broke don't fix it. i don't know. i'll chew on it for the winter. maybe i'll try some big city thunders and see what that does for me. or i'll make my own.
thanks man.

I would leave them just the way they are. They sound and look good.

They sound good (nice deep rumble) and look good, but if the look is very important to you then change them, its your bike. I changed the pipes on my Sportster from baloney cut to slashdowns because the slashdowns looked better, to me.
