No fringes here, couldn't do it. Not even any studs, and positively no leather vests .

Back in "the day" when my brother rode his harley and I was just big enough to go for a ride when my mom was not around to yell at us, I remember his bags having the fringe on the bottom. Most all the bikes in the area had them at the time. To me, it's old school look. I ordered the fringe on bottom only. My lights are mounted at license plate so I need not worry about the clearance and the bags are 18.5 inches long, not the 22 inches of larger bags he had in same style. I will need to see how the quick connect brackets will stick out before I do mount them. I have bags on now that were original to the bike in '96, so mounting will not be any problems for me. Studs are already in place if I go that route and omit the quick connect brackets.
