looking for suggestions for good mid priced bags for this bike

Lots of options - and mid-priced is different for everyone. But for a quality pair of throw-overs, try US Saddlebag or Fox Creek. Otherwise LeatherPros or Boss Bags for higher end bags.

I have Fox Creek Leather throw over saddlebags... not too expensive and couldn't be happier.
