Default 21 inch wheel - your opinion and pics

Hi Lads,

So I am changing the wheels on my 2010 Fatboy for Billet RC Component mags and am thinking on putting a 21 inch on the front. I have seen a lot of spoked 21 inch wheels, but not many mags.

I am looking for pics and opinions on this and what it may do to the right etc.

I don't want to lash out on something without having all the facts.

Thanks.

I think you'll need to change the fender

Yeah or either make some brackets.

Looking for Mag pics, not spokes though.

Any ideas if it will affect the handling?

It's not a Fatboy but I do have 21" PM Riviera rims on my Night Train, here's what they look like:

Yeah, like stated above you will need to either raise your fender or get a different fender to accomodate a 21" wheel. I first used some brackets that I had made to raise my stock fender but decided that it looked out of place and got a Heritage fender.

I won't post pics as I have fat spokes. W have plenty of pics of softails with nice rims on them here in our softail gallery.

I have to agree there are quite a few nice looking setups on HogPro...This is the direction I am heading with my bike. Check out eBay because that is where I got my shaved and clean deluxe/heritage style fender for around $80...I am a big fan of the Lemans and Hooligans. Rock n Roll has a very nice setup of 21/18...Love to find a set somewhere on the cheap.

My opinion is that I don't like the 'skinny tire' look.
When I had my 99 FXSTC, stock was a 21' wheel, of which was supposed to be the moco's version of a chopper.
I put a 16" on my 99, w/a Fatboy front fender.
