I have the Mark IV Extended Arms (#7841) on my '03 FatBoy.

Great product, rock solid and have about 3" of adjustment. I have a 33/34" inseam, and these along with the standard floorboards give me almost unlimited riding positions.

Do these actually connect in any way to the foot boards? I only ask because I'm looking for an alternative to extended forward controls for my Softail Custom.

Thanks,
Jim

No they don't attach to the floorboards like the earlier Mark III version.

They mount on each side to existing holes in the lower portion of the frame.

Totally independent of the floorboards.

I've been riding Harley's since the early 1970's, and the FatBoy is the first bike I've owned that has floorboards and no forward pegs.

The combination floorboards/extended arms gives the most options, and most comfortable leg/foot position of any bike I've owned.

I have the Mark IV arms adjusted so I can fully extend my legs, withmy heelresting on the top portion of the floorboard, and the sole of my foot on the forward peg.
