Default Iso Grips......

Anyone running them, suck don't suck? Looking for something with some comfort.
My current grips have absolutely no rubber or foam cushion.

I have the ISO Blacks, and I like them.. they're comfortable, not squishy but not hard.. good for wearing gloves or without, my hands never slip from them. If you do go with them, be sure to get the $19 throttle-boss, it's worth it. A word of warning, however, the glue Kuryakyn gives you (Black Widow glue i think it is) has no mercy and no give to it.. if you don't get the left-side grip lined up and slid on properly the first time within about 1.38 seconds (not lying.), you're going to be in for a bad time.

And if I were to choose a different grip other than the ISOs, I would check out the Avon Air Cushioned Black Anodized grips..they're roughly the same price, have a similar look, but are far more cushioned if you look for something more squishy

The only thing I don't like about them is my hands smell like rubber if I don't wear gloves. I have been thinking about switching to the Avons.

^ +1 on the rubber smell and I thought they felt like cheap plastic in use. Never felt right to me. Swapped them out for the large Harley tribal grips.

I installed a set this spring. I normally will put on 300+ miles in a day cruise. They were a huge improvement over the stock grips.

I really like the throttle boss as it does help with grip fatigue. However, it did take me some time to make sure the edge of my hand did not ride on it as it would make it more uncomfortable.

I am pleased with them and they did make a difference for the longer distances.

Have had them on my last 4 rides . the throttle boss is great also . They all still looked good when I sold . On my new bike there is a bit of in and out slop on throttle . I never had that b/4 . It might be just me though . They are very comfortable .
