I didn't get the kit you're referring to, but for reference I did the turn signal relocation and added an axle mount plate bracket. I think this setup would allow for bags and save you from that other beast. Not sure about the clearance of the bags and the stock signal lights. You'd have to check that. Maybe someone ore knowledgable will check in.

Where did you get this? Is it Harley? Can you run bags with that?

no you cant run harley bags with that setup that i think. The fender struts are shorter than most, so i belive you have to relocate the tail lights.

Lupus- how sturdy is the lugage rack with only 2 points of contact like that?

Hi there Lupus,

I've just seen your turn signal relocation pics and I just can't notice where the wires are. I 've got my relocation done a couple of days ago from my local HD workshop and the wires are exposed, next to the relocation piece. I did find this weird.

I would really appreciate it if you answer me to this issue.

Best regards.

The wires should go through the stems. Although they are very tight because I think that relo kit was originally designed for bikes that only had turn signals in those lights and not running lights as well. Some have had to take a drill to the inside of them to get all 3 wires through.

The relocation kit used in the above pictures will only give you enough clearance for the quick release used on assessories such as sissy bars, but will not give you enough clearance for saddlebags.
Mine has both turn signal relocation kit installed, because the original owner installed the posts for the sissy bar, but if you're starting out all you need is the 73369-10

The relocation kit that you need is : 73369-10 TURN SIGNAL RELO KIT, BLACK HARLEY-DAVIDSON
