Default Bad weather...time for upgrade

Finally received some bad weather so great time to install some mods. I am currently installing:

1. Chrome nacelle
2. Wild1 518 bars
3. Chrome switch housing and switches
4. HD strealth grips
5. HD diamondback cables -- All

So far have 1-4 and partly completed #5. This has truly been a learning and ego-lifting experience...what a blast also. I will get some pics when it's all back together. Here is a couple of things I have learned:

1. Wire terminal removal tool is a must
2. Record important stuff (wires in the terminal) or take pics while you go
3. Take your time and THINK about what the instructions are trying to say...yes, some of the HD guides are crap (Nacelle for example)
4. 4 hands are better than 2
5. Have your tank as close to empty as possible
6. Remember #3 and just have fun....have the theory "I can replace whatever I screw up"..try not to follow thru on it though

Next project comes chrome lower forks and cowbells...questions coming for the folks that have accomplished this.

Lynn,

I appreciate it. I am trying to get it to the theme I want, while at the same time quick to switch to long hauling when needed. Best thing is the wife approves and now wants these parts on her Deluxe.
