Default Deluxe with 16'' Carlini's

Just mulling some ideas over for my off season plans, and putting a list together. if anyone has 16'' Carlini gangster apes, with something like a 1 1/2 riser on a Deluxe, I'd be interested in what length cables were used?.
I've never been a fan of apes, and I love my Burly beach, but I get bored real easy, and of all the apes it would have to be the Gangster.

Went with high roller risers about 2" and used +10 on all my cables

I am very interested in what you decide to do and if you do go ahead and pull the trigger on the Gangster apes I would like to hear how it went and some pictures. I am in the same exact boat and I am thinking of putting the 16 gangster's on mine this winter.

I have full 1.25 " 16 Carlini Gangster Apes. I went with +10 cables all around. Think I could have gotten away with + 8 no problem. But if you are going with the 1.50 bars I'd stick with the +10 as they are about 4-5 " wider.

Cheers for that Malingerer, I'm sure I've seen pics of your bike before, but if you could give me a link to some detailed pics, I'd appreciate it, if the 1.5'' bars are 4-5'' wider than yours, then how wide are yours?

Mine are 36.5" wide the 1.50 Carlini's are 41" wide. For what ever reason I have not been able to post pics for the last several months. I am not sure how to attach a link ether. Sorry I am a computer retard.

PM me your email and I will send you some good pics.

Thats why I bought the full 1.25 at 36.5 "s wide. But to be honest after seeing the 1.50 bars and sitting on Fireman 1501 bike I wish i had gone with the 1.50 bars. Simply put they are AMAZING looking bars.

Another thing I would change I would have gone with the 14's instead. I am only 5' 10" with shorter arms.

Pics sent let me know if they came out alright. They are small but double click on them for a large size image. Any questions let me know.

I've got a set of 14's sitting in the guest bedroom waiting to go one and that is my only worry.

How do you like that drivers backrest and where did you find it? I am 6'3 and struggling to keep my stock seat but I'm afraid it's a losing battle. Ive been looking for the one I see on your bike but can't seem to locate one. Was wondering if I should keep looking or just go for a different seat. Any feedback would be helpfull, Thanks
