I plan on getting one as soon as possible. I agree the fender looks out of place the way it sits. I am hoping the 160 tire will fill the gap and make it look better until I can afford the shotgun. Thank you for the feedback

By now i feel like lowering it is synonymous with shotgun shock. You can do dead creek and other lowering kits. They are cheaper 1-200 dollar range

Hey Aaron, I bought a new seat for my slim and have the stock one that's never been ridden. If it does fit I'll sell you mine on the cheap.

yeah for sure. Not getting too crazy with it (need a little more cash flow first!). Just doing some V&H slip ons, mustang seat, and the detacheable passenger system. Hey Jam, where'd you get the headlight ring for your slim?

That's just right out of the H-D catalog.
I added the aux lights, which already came in black (p/n 68000026), then the visors for the headlight (p/n 69734-05) and the aux lights (p/n 69732-05).
The visors only came in chrome so I had them PC'd when I did the rest of the front end.

Yeah I like that ring...I may have to get my hands on one and p/c it!
