Man, the Slims are flying out the door for HD! I do find it odd that people buy slims and then put a bunch of retro accessories, chrome or solo spring seats on them. Its a new classic all it's own! The mostly blacked out stripped-down, utilitarian street-fighter look with a low seat slammed right to the frame is about 50% of what the slim is all about IMHO. Some 12" black chubby apes and a few extra blacked out components (lower fork sliders, pipes, AC) is about all I'd do to one myself. And there just might be a spot in my garage next to my luxe for one.

I like how low that seat sits, Cunga. Motherroad Customs?

And congrats on the Slim. Don't see as many red ones as we should.

Hey SoCal, Thanks!! Raised me up and further back actually. But, I got some pullback risers on the way so...yes, Mother Road Customs. That seat is beautiful and comfortable! I'm laughing I like it so much. It needed mods to ECM cover and passenger pad, "MRC" is stepping up to make it. Who does that today? I'm impressed!

I blacked out since '07', wanted some color. Fun site!

How's that gel insert? After about an hour my tailbone really starts to bug me. How'd you get it done? And I love the bag! It looks a littl low though? Does it scrape at all?

My experience is that I scrape the floorboards all the time - don't
worry about the swingarm bag...

Dunno - maybe I need to research how to raise the floorboards for
more lean angle ? I couldn't imagine the scrapping if I lowered
the ride height...

The gel insert on the stock seat is great I had it done at my local upholstery shop, and the bag has not scraped the ground at all.

I dig those beer cans, beast. And I think a chromed out front end would look just as good as black, conjur. No joy in everyone doing up their Slim the same.

I dig the spring saddle on my bike, and get lots of compliments on it. But I gotta say, I like the cockpit feel of the stock seat too. It's just a rough ride. Might be a gel insert in my future.
