For some reason I just don't think wide whites look good on the slim.

And that is the thing about a HD...different strokes for different folks. I think the whites absolutely pop on the slim. I want to get a set for mine when it is time to change tires. A couple of guys I ride with have similiar and opposite opinions...one says they would look killer....the other says no. Such is life.

I agree......am going to fit WW's to my Slim as well at some point.

It's whatever floats your boat, we all have different tastes.

I'm usually a pretty big fan of WWs, just not those maybe? I think a double line thin white would look good on slim. In fact I've been searching for one in a 150 size.

Interesting take. If the bike is totally blacked out with some white trimmings like grips and seat trim, white walls look great, IMHO. But if it's not, the WW don't seem to pop the same way.

As for me, I kinda associate white walls with a Deluxe and I feel like the Slim is just a different type of bike. But YMMV.

Maybe that's what it is. I it's a denim black bike that's been murdered out like most "bobbers" you see these days then I dig it. But with gloss paint, chrome and polished aluminum it just doesn't look right to me. It's a nice day here so I'm going to finally contribute to this thread and take pics of my bike.

..I think they look fine, but raised white letter tires might look better...

Right on. Some vintage Firestones with raised white letters might be in plans when I'm next due for a tire change.
