I don't ride with the windshield much. The top of it is right in my line of sight and it bugs the **** outa me. I'm thinking of chopping it down. Anyone have any experience with this?

The 2018+ M8 kits shown in the P&A Catalog appear to only move the signals & plate mount further rearward,
not under the rear fender.

Looks like he used the TwinCam license plate relocation kit #67900127A. It actually
locates the plate under the rear fender.
The 2018+ M8 kits shown in the P&A Catalog appear to only move the signals & plate mount further rearward,
not under the rear fender.

And his picture is obviously of a TwinCam, not M8.
EDIT: just hit me - HD parts will often fit applications not listed for them.
You might try the TwinCam kit and find that it will still work. I have not
looked at the under-fender structure support on the M8 models so I could
not say for sure...
