Is there extra wire for the controls tucked away to change bars or did you have to extend the wires? I'd like to get some 6 or 8" tall bars an I'd hate to cut up the wiring for that.

I used all the stock wiring, cables, and brake line and it all works as good as with the original bars. I don't have ABS and I've heard some say the brake line won't work with the taller bars. The 10 inch bars are not very high, they give a good look and riding position and are a little less than shoulder high with stock risers. I'm 6'1" tall for reference. changing out the bars really is one of the easier things to do. just make damn sure you cover the tank with a heavy towel or blanket in case they drop down or some other mishap happens!

You can raise the bars by 10 and not have to change a thing

Thought I would share some pics of my Slim after getting it back together from kissing a Honda Civic back in Feb. Made a few changes here & there.Decided to ditch some of the black for chrome,like the wheels,turn signals,headlight tins,& rear sprocket.I'm pretty pleased with it myself,but,still have more things coming.
