I have this same exhaust on my Slim and it is the best sounding exhaust. They have high out put baffles, but I think they come factory like that. I got mine for $300 because Harley ordered for another customer and they were wrong year, so I got the cheap. Why would you want to take these off?
This is one of my brothers old car bodies we are putting together. I thought it was a good spot for a pic of my bike. I will take some more pics of the 1927 Hudson(I think it is) the next time I am over there.
I did a bunch of upgrades to mine, but brought it home on trailer as I forgot to register it.
mods = V&H Pipes, Side bag, Windshirld black brackets, fog light and light bar (black), day maker headlight and fog lights, tinted blinker covers, black and alloy air cleaner,black slotted levers, new grips and Boom audio windshield mounted speakers with hand control, right side tool box and crash bar.

Taking them off because I want some upsweep fishtails. Purely cosmetic reasoning. Just prefer a different look
I tried to make it darker for you, but the bike refused, and did this in response to my efforts...Sorry about that. Perhaps it didn't want to be any darker. tp dd50
