I set up my "Slimboy" for 1000 mile west coast trip, worked great, I have been very happy since. I like your Slimglide name and long range comfort mods :-)

I wonder if your fangs would work better or worse if you mounted them "backwards" like mine? I like how they fit (the way they are) and look with your fairing.

I am not 100% sure but maybe Mustang or Corbin. You can get them to customize the seat. It is possible they took the stock seat and had it redone too. Nice looking seat either way!

Agreed.

I happen to really like my stock Slim seat. I am going to buy a take-off one and have it redone in leather with the same stitching on it (but maybe using orange thread).

I am doing the same with my stock seat. I am finally (had made two appointments with them in the past that I had to cancel due to work or some crap on my side) sending it to MeanCityCycles to be redone. I believe it is the same folks that did his, not sure. But I sent them a photo, called them, and they can redo the internals, recover in leather with anything you want on it... the only thing they told me is that it will be even in the back with the border. Not like the stock unit that it is stitched to a lip.

Give them a call, great folks to deal with.

I am enjoying the heck out of it... and taking it for a ride to Key West next week. Different riding experience. There is still lots of love for the Slim S, but since the Thruxton is the new girl in the garage, is getting more seat time right now
