@Griff...beautiful legs on your Slim brother!!

and taking a lesson from momma...if you aint got nothing nice to say...well you know. then again, never did listen to momma much. I knew a builder that used to say form should follow function. Why in hell somebody would CHOOSE to run white floor boards is beyond me. But for some reason I keep hearing "could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves"...we are a dumb bunch for sure.

These Slim pics are driving me mad. I found a used Slim, that is stock, and ready for modding, but for a grand more, I can get an Ultra Classic I found. Decisions, decisions. Since I already have two touring bikes, a third is just a waste, but I have wanted a Slim since it came out. Guess we will see what the summer brings. No Harleys in the garage now, and I believe there needs to be one again. tp dd50

So went to a military surplus store today and picked up a small ammo can for the right side so I can put some tools in it and small green canvas bag for either a coil cover or horn. We'll decided it would be better as a horn cover. Here a few pics.

Here's the horn cover. It was a tight fit but looks good. The horn works fine. We'll have to see if there's an issue with the engine heat.

Here's the small ammo can for the right side. I'll ride with it for a while and decide if I like it or not.

Bobsharley, that is a very popular mod on KLR650's. Tons of ammo cans are on KLR's out there. Yours looks great and will hold what you need to carry... tp

No problem. I had a Bobcat on a Sportster. Excellent quality and a good performing pipe.

Default WKNDS - Pogo Seat Assistance

Could I get some direction on how to accomplish the same outcome that you have with the pogo seat application? I see lots of parts #'s on the forum.

Sorry, just now saw this. I assume you have a Slim (FLS) ?

There are -many- ways to change the configuration, but they
all rely on the V-Twin (CustomChrome has their version too I believe)
pogo-seat adapter.

There are a lot of different styles & colors of the 1920's
"police" style seats. You also need to decide what kind of ECM and
frame (battery) cover you want to use (or none if you want to run it bare).

I've posted part numbers that I used previously in other threads, but
I'll post them here again when I get home from work.
