Funny, I was looking for tail light WITHOUT LED, but found this LED lamp from a forum member, and he sent the chrome signals so I used those as well.

I always liked the look, but Harley had a problem with the Dyna fenders cracking.
I chopped 6" from the rear fender, and I have a VERY strong steel doubler under the fender, that is bonded to the underside of fender with aircraft glue and it is curved like a bridge and bolted to the rear fender supports. (behind the rear signals).
Thanks for the info, especially about needing to reinforce the fender.

Phil,

Can you post how you rigid mounted the swing-arm saddle bag?

I have been wondering the same thing. I have my small bag hard mounted to the swing arm, but the bag Phil used has a plastic backing, that is not really flat.... I can't quite figure out how Phil hard mounted that bag either.

So Phil, How about some photos or a description on how that large saddlebag is mounted? Did you keep the plastic backing?

I wil say again, the large single bag looks great on Phil's bike.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Y'all ! Thanks again for the nice words. My friend Jean-Marie Servignat built 2 plates : One to hold the original Heritage saddlebag with the plastic back and the other one for the licence plate and tail light. They are fixed on the swingarms 3 bolts and also with the rear wheel axle. Next time I take off the saddlebag, I'm gonna take some pictures.

Its been awhile since I've posted any updated pics on this thread, so
here's a few pics I took today after getting the nostalgic horn finished.

After some more subtle changes in the coming weeks/months, I'll post
a few more....
