Default Just picked her up.

Hey guys,
I have been waiting ages to finally pick up my 2015 Slim. Im finally back state-side and she's finally in my garage! She is bare stock at this point, but I'm waiting on the relocation kits to throw some saddlebags on. I will post those pictures as soon as the bags are installed.

Just an opinion here, but if you're referring to the HD saddlebags,
I would recommend you actually see what they look like installed
first (find someone that has them).

Personally, I thought they looked a little bit dorky. There's other
alternatives out there like the LeatherPro versions. IF you switch
exhaust such that the top pipe is lower, you can go with even bigger
bags - just depends on what you're gonna use them for I guess....

good luck,

T.

@WKNDS
I already have the bags in hot stand-by. I got them cheap on eBay. I personally think the look of the factory slim bags is okay...I can say that I don't love them as much as the stock lines the slim has. Honestly though I need the daily storage so I had to choose function over form, or there wouldn't be any bags in the first place.

Sorry the pics are fuzzy. Phone is old.

Informational post only.
A few folks have sent me PM's asking me what Memphis Shades fairing to order for the Slim ( I missed a couple because I was gone for awhile, sorry).
Memphis Shades does not list the fairing as fitting a Slim.
When ordering order the parts for a 2003 Fatboy without the light bar. It's the same as the Slim front end and no mortifications were needed. Straight bolt on.
Hope this helps.

Look at the rubber bumper area - it's quite obvious what the difference is.

Here's a slightly different angle - not much different though....

Opinion? The "ball" at the tip is "maybe" a 1/2" further outboard so your
boot heel can grab it. Not enough difference to justify the expense in my
opinion. You can achieve somewhat the same effect on the stock
kickstand using the DIY "bubba's garage" method using a cheater pipe
with the kickstand down and a buddy holding the bike while you bend
the ball-tip arm outward. So bottom line - save your money....

hope this helps,

T.
