Cool Trying a exposed filter with rain sock

Put this S&S filter end cap on today. Shade matches the exhaust really well.

I like the exposed filter setup because I can see more of the engine.

I have used rain socks before but not sure how well they really reject rain.

Well the weather was nice, so I figured I would advantage of it
and get Black Betty ready for some cold weather riding. I installed
a center wind deflector and some "fangs" (fork mounted wind deflectors).
Here's a few pictures...

I also had a buddy weld some tabs on my QD backrest so I could mount
a Harley AeroRack and get rid of the "bolt on" rack. Here's a few pics
of the mockup. So far, I like it...

Probably get the rack all buttoned up tomorrow....

I kinda killed my slim.
Easy answer to "How do I put a 200mm rear on a slim?" is to put a fatboy wheel & fender/struts on it.

Fatboy/slim? Que the music.

I do prefer the stock 144/150 max on the Slim. Thought about the change myself , however , I think it kills that lean bad *** look of the Slim. And the Slim handles great too!

Some great looking slims in here, lot's of inspiration for my slim when I eventually put an order in.

Question: prices here in Australia are pretty rigid and deals aren't done moving the price ($26250 ride away ugh.). Where we do get wriggle room is on factory parts. With that in mind Slim owners, what parts would you add to improve quality of life(ride) if you could have gotten them for free with your HD purchase?

Specifically I'm going to be needing a 2up seat and maybe a suspension upgrade as a result.
